Readings with Kura
No two readings are alike. When I sit with a person and the energies around them, I am able to become a kind of 'telephone' through which loved ones, ancestors, animals, people who are nonverbal, and your own spirit speak.
Our meeting unfolds as a discussion. Your active participation through sharing questions, thoughts, and open-heartedness helps create a more revealing dialogue. Often, a session consists of me weaving together the stories both from you and the spirit realm to form a larger whole. While I am able to direct the energy to a point, I have found it has a mind of its own. The energy may end up directing us to the most pressing issue at hand for you, whether it be communicating with a deceased person, a living pet, or your own energy.
In recent years, my experience with mediumship has, at times, gone beyond people who have passed. I have had the recent honor of connecting with living animals, deceased animals, and people who are nonverbal. I hope to continue to expand my repertoire, as I continue to grow and learn that everything has a communication 'style,' and is, therefore, always saying something. Our current accepted human ways of communicating only represent a small portion of communication methods out in our world, and beyond. This is a beautiful truth I hope more humans, one day, will accept and pass on to their own children--both for our sake, and for the planet's health.
My readings are for two parties: you and the present energies. A session will include addressing your questions, as well as relating spirit's advice or gifts to you. Since my readings come from "source", I am very conscientious in relating the information as it is presented. While the directness of spirit sometimes causes discomfort, I have found it is what is needed for individuals to thrive. This is important because it often creates healing and holistic resolution for all involved.
Sometimes, someone you may have had unpleasant--or even traumatic--experiences with will come through first. This is often because they have been trying to connect to deliver a message and I am an avenue they have found to do so. This can create feelings of overwhelm, understandably. I have found, though, that this sort of visit can lead to immense healing for both you and that spirit, as they often come with the intention of creating resolution. For example, one of my clients experienced years of childhood sexual abuse. She grew to be fearful of this presence and it was a relationship that was left unresolved by the abuser's death. Her abuser came to our session; I could feel he wanted to assist in creating energetic peace, particularly for her. Before allowing him into the session, I asked permission from my client. She was terrified, but also open to his offer of healing. During the session, she was able to ask the questions that haunted her for twenty years. This unexpected conversation helped her move beyond years of ill-feelings and into a space of emotional healing. It should be noted that, should a spirit pop in that a client is not wanting to speak to, this decision is honored. The client's feelings of safety and comfort always come first.
